Privacy policy for riverthought.ca

This website is operated by RiverThought Technologies Inc. ("we"), 1338 Wellington Street West, Unit 10, Ottawa, Ontario K1Y 3B7, Canada. We collect as little as possible.

What this website collects

• No cookies, no analytics scripts, no advertising. The pages are static files.
• The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect against attacks, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; your browser sends Google a request for the font files. No other third-party resources are used.
• The contact form does not send anything to us. It opens an e-mail in your own mail program with the text you typed.

E-mail you send us

When you write to support@riverthought.com or admin@riverthought.com, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to answer you and, for clients, for the duration of the engagement plus the period required by Canadian tax and commercial law (generally six years). We do not add you to any mailing list.

Client work

During an engagement we may receive access to your systems, source code and test data. We use them only for the agreed work, keep credentials in a password manager, never copy production personal data outside your environment, and return or delete access at the end. The statement of work sets out anything specific to your project.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or to delete it (except records the law requires us to keep). Write to admin@riverthought.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
